How to exchange gifts for Secret Santa? ›

The Secret Santa participants hold their gift exchange, which could be a holiday party, lunch break, or video call, depending on the group. One by one, each participant opens their gift and tries to guess who their Secret Santa is, until each gift-giver's identity is revealed.

They are all randomly assigned an individual to buy a present. As the term implies, the identity of the gift sender must be kept secret and not disclosed within the group. Each member of the group then gathers to exchange gifts, and the identity of the gift donor is disclosed until after the items have been opened.

Set a spending limit, and have participants each bring a small, wrapped gift. Toss each gift into a bag, and come exchange time, have each participant take a surprise gift from the bag.
